Adding new manufacturing technology to a fabrication lab is usually a challenge, requiring additional space, resources, and completely different workflows. However, with thermoforming, it is just the opposite. In this workshop, we will introduce thermoforming in education. We will cover the basics of the technology, the benefits of its use in education, integration into existing manufacturing workflows, sample projects, and a real-time demo in which participants will make their own thermoformed mold.
